Cameron Womack is a professional drummer, musician, and educator based in Sacramento, CA. Cameron first began playing the drums at the age of two after discovering his father’s set of drums in the garage. Cameron received formative training from CSU Sacramento, where he received a BA is Music. During his studies at Sacramento State, Cameron studied privately under the guidance of Rick Lotter, as well as toured, performed, and recorded with the Downbeat award winning 1:30 Jazz Ensemble from 2011-2015.
Cameron first began playing professionally in his teenage years, and has since gone on to enjoy a very busy performing career with some of the top-call musicians in Northern California. Some of Cameron’s performing credits include Todd Morgan & The Emblems, Arlyn Anderson, Levi Saelua, Joe Mazzaferro, Henry Robinett, Mumbo Gumbo, Joy and Madness, and Kaylee Starr. He has also performed with internationally acclaimed artists such as Jeff Clayton, Arun Luthra, John Fedchock, and Steve Turre.
In addition to maintaining a very busy performing schedule, Cameron is a dedicated educator and instructor. With over 10 years of teaching experience, Cameron currently teaches a weekly roster of 45+ private students at the Music Lab School of Music, as well as at his own private studio. Cameron also serves as adjunct faculty at William Jessup University. In addition to teaching individual drum lessons, Cameron also presents drum clinics and masterclasses throughout the region.
